Congrats Kim and Giles!!

I have been looking forward to this wedding ever since I met this wonderful couple! Both Vandy trauma nurses, they honestly are so in love it is ridiculous!

Their wedding took place at Kim's mother's beautiful house in Gallatin this past Sunday afternoon, May 18. There was a great turn-out of about 65 and it was a wonderful, casual and intimate wedding. The ceremony took place in front of the house and the reception took place in the back.

After some initial fears about rain (Kim, don't lie, I know you were freaking out!) and some reassurances by me (the weather predicting wedding planner) we pulled it off without a drop of rain! Ok, ok, it rained for 10 seconds about 10 minutes before the ceremony, but other than that, it was perfect!

One of my favorite parts was that they had Cracker Barrell cater, as that was where the couple had their first date!! How appropriate!

I could not help but take a picture of this GORGEOUS bouquet! I am partial to callas myself, but this is amazing.
These sweet little arrangements were on each table and on the guest book table as well.
Kim and Giles decided to have these Koozies as favors to match their spring/outdoor, casual scene, and they were a hit!

The color scheme was bright and cheerful, apple green, sherbet pink, and bright orange. It fit perfectly into the scene and we brought the pool into the picture by adding a ton of pink rose petals (which of course blew all to one end, but still remained a great touch).

The fabulous cake was done by a family friend, and I know the couple could not have been happier with the turn out. It was delicious and fit perfectly in with the theme!
Congratulations to Kim and Giles and I hope you guys have an amazing TWO-WEEK honeymoon (note the jealousy!!) It was a pleasure working with you guys!
OK, I'm off to bed! I am now 30 weeks pregnant and still feeling the pain from yesterday! One more wedding to go before the baby comes!

Congratulations Alice and Michael!

Yesterday marked the end of months of meticulous planning for Alice and Michael! They are now officially Dr. And Mrs.!

I took remarkably few pictures (as always seems to happen) but will share the ones I did get! I anxiously await the fabulous work of Evan Baines, photographer extraordinaire and will share those when I get them, as my pictures are obviously the work of an amateur! (He showed me a few throughout the night and I was amazed by his ability, to say the least.) Update: He just sent me one fora preview! See above pic!! Wow!

The ceremony took place at Legislative Plaza, and despite 20 mph winds, it went without a hitch. The sun shined all day and the temperature was perfect.

After a cocktail hour on the mezzanine, the reception took place inside the War Memorial Auditorium. This venue is really a hidden gem in Nashville and is such a fabulous space to transform into whatever you can dream of.

The very simple tablescapes, designed by the godmother of the bride, were perfect for the space, and allowed the focus of the eye to be drawn where it should be, to the bride and groom and their fabulous dancing skills! (I can't tell you how much fun we had watching them dance, they were phenomenal, to say the least! Jealous.....)

The couple ate dinner in the "green room" before joining the wedding and we tried to make it a little bit pretty for them!

And for a special segment here, the "secret goings on of a wedding planner"! As some of you know, I am now 28 weeks pregnant, and while I sort of forgot about that last night (being so busy), I did have my mom and my friend Christina there to ensure that I did find time to sit during our 18 hour day! I love you guys!

And thanks to the Clean Plate Club, we were all treated to the best wedding food I may well have EVER had (and I'm not saying that just because I'm pregnant!)

I know the guests had an amazing time, and I know that we here at WWR also managed to enjoy ourselves, and pull off this pretty fabulous night!!

Again, professional pics to come!!
